Rallies against education cuts begin; officials warn against violence

A national day of protests against education funding cuts began Thursday with generally peaceful rallies, walkouts and teach-ins at universities and high schools. But an incident in which demonstrators smashed the windshield of a car trying to enter UC Santa Cruz brought a warning against any other violence.

IPhone Apps for the Cheaters

I dont have an Iphone therefore you can take what I say with a grain of salt since I cant verify the authenticity of such claims. With that said I came across an article that mentioned two apps that will make your life easier if you seem to be of the shady persuasion.

State Department: U.S. working to prevent child trafficking in Haiti

The United States will work with the Haitian government and with international and private aid groups to protect Haitian children who might be at risk because they were orphaned or separated from their parents by the earthquake, the State Department said Thursday.
