Authorities diverted today a Bogota, Colombia-bound Continental Airlines flight to Florida because of a “potential person of interest.”

The Continental Airlines Flight 881, which departed from New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport, landed at Florida’s Jacksonville International Airport where the FBI cleared him after they had found that he was not the person they were looking for.

Question is, can he sue the Government for mistaken identity and anguish?
